Ladies and Gentlemen: 38 posts on the family blog in 8 days. You all are a very impressive lot. The White clan is currently a little in debt to the wench, I mean Nicola, who despite personal upheaval is single handily holding up the White's reputation on this site. Meyers you are doing an impressive job.

I got up at the ridiculous PST of 5am set to begin my law school work: cyber law midterm, research report, READINGS, professional responsibility exam (the first step in the Bar!). But I got sidetracked my my email and chanced upon my dad's script from the James and Emilie wedding. The message of the script being that "everything good is meant to be shared."

Here are a few things I would like to share
1) 50 days left in the countdown to James and Emilie's permanent co-habitation
2) James and I are hosting Thanksgiving in Reno the menu is:
PUMPKIN AND SHRIMP BISQUE
ONION AND SAGE TARTS
SQUASH WITH ROSEMARY, SAGE, AND CIDER GLAZE
ROASTED PARSNIPS WITH THYME
HERB-RUBBED DUCK WITH TART CHERRY AND SAGE SAUCE
I am way excited to cook this and excited to see what James will read to me while I cook.

3) James' book goes to print November 13. I have included a picture of his helpful research assistant



4) I got copper lowlights in my hair and that is sassy

I wish I could be sharing the Beloit film fest, seeing Nicola all dressed up, and fires on nights when it is almost too cold to be out. But this blog feels like a way to share a little in everything good.
