Hello from Nicola!
As most of you have gathered this week has been a very sad time with the loss of my sister, Cathy. Emilie did a beautiful statement/eulogy as you have read on this blog. Thank you Emilie it was very moving and true to word and heart. Tomorrow is Monday and we will have a visitation from 3-9 P.M. and a funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 with lunch to follow. My White family/siblings have all gathered to share and support in this time and we have also had lots of memories and laughter. My Meyer family as always have shown great love and compassion at this time. All of the Meyer family have always been kind and understanding with Cathy and I thank you for that. But as in all of life there is great sadness and great joy. The joy part of the week was going to Northfield Minnesota and watching Dominick compete and compete well in Nationals. He has acheived one of his collegiate goals which was to be a National All-American. He came in 25th in a field of over 280 top runners . It is great to blog but please give him a call. His team also came in well at sixth place out of 35. Go Point! Stephen is outside now on a very cold and windy night setting up a fire in the pit so we can have Smores with California, Florida and North Carolina fam and make them brave the wilds of Wisconsin. Love and thanks to all! Nicola
