UNCLE MICHAEL CHECKING IN

I'm impressed by everyone's technical abilities. Nice to see photos and I enjoyed the Mary Poppins trailer/spoof, Matthew. It was a perfect Thanksgiving Day, followed by a lovely weekend with Mom and Nicki in Chicago. We went to Alinea, which vies for Charlie Trotter's position as top restaurant in Chicagoland. $80.00 got me an extra course consisting literally of a thumb's-worth of noodles in butter over which the waiter shaved part of a truffle--not even one whole mushroom! I'm too low-rent for that kind of fare!
